In Year 3, the topics that children will be learning include ‘Stone Age Britain’, ‘Africa’ and ‘Food and Farming’. They will be going on trips to the Museum of London, Barleylands Farm and the British Museum to support their learning in class.
Where possible, foundation subjects such as History and Geography are linked to quality texts such as ‘Fly, Eagle, Fly’ and ‘Charlotte’s Webb’.
In Music, the children will be learning the recorder with Mrs Peugniez throughout the year, culminating in a special performance at the end of the Summer term. Children will also have the opportunity to learn French.
